Leadership in the Town of Columbus was wondering if it might waive utility deposits for survivors of a deceased person, who until the time of death had lived under the same roof. Since spouses are already exempt, the frail elderly wouldn’t manage without a caretaker, and children wouldn’t run a household; one might assume this is only an issue because of the number of destitute adult offspring forced into moving back in with mom and dad.
