The UK Telegraph recently gave its view from across the pond regarding the United States’ most influential liberals and conservatives. Rep. Barney Frank, D-MA, is ranked as the 18th most influential liberal. Here’s what the Telegraph said about Frank (emphasis added):
Regarded by Democrats as one of their biggest stars in the House and the only politician who truly understands what went wrong in the subprime mortgage debacle.
That’s a little like saying that Muhammad Atta is the only one who truly understands what went wrong with airport security on 9/11.
