While I was no fan of Sean Wilentz‘s Age of Reagan, I did enjoy Steven Hayward’s massive tome of the same name. Hayward’s original Age of Reagan focused on the impact Ronald Reagan made on American politics from 1964 to 1980. (I also enjoyed the follow-up book Hayward wrote comparing Reagan to Churchill.)
Now I’m looking forward to reading the sequel, which covers the presidential years.
