Ashe County recently approved an ordinance that would make commercial wind power projects all but impossible. Yet the arguments for aggressive development of wind farms are irrefutable….
The power-generating times are changing and North Carolina is blessed by nature with a ceaseless, pollution-free power source. The Ashe County commissioners should get out of the way if they can’t lend a hand. And the General Assembly should clarify the law so as to promote wind farms, not impede them.
