I’m not going to prejudge the outcome of the failure to render aid lawsuit brought against CATS by the family of a man who died on a CATS bus. But there are several questions that need answered.

Does it really take a CATS bus 25 minutes to go four miles? If not, what was going on? Have all the numerous audio and video glitches been fixed in the CATS system? A rare double-whammy outage in this case has left no independent record of events. Recall that after the July 4th fireworks riot at the Transit Center, security cameras were supposedly used to try and ID rioters, but nothing ever come of that. Do these things work or not?
