The Herald-Sun is reporting that UNC-Chapel Hill is trying to hire John Edwards ? no, not to sue the Pope Center for “hostile” criticism, but to teach in the Law School.
Dean Gene Nichol apparently wrote Edwards “several weeks ago,” presumably after the election, to teach. Edwards has a long history of teaching and it’s no wonder UNC would ? well, actually, he doesn’t, and nevertheless, it’s still no wonder why UNC is pursuing him. Failed Democrat political candidates hold some sort of appeal to UNC Law, for some reason.
