Economist Richard Rahn says in this Washington Tmes column that the Obama administration is child-like in its penchant for doing things without considering the long-run consequences.

Quite right. Politics has almost always been about doing feel-good stuff that sounds good and wins votes but causes long-run harm — but the Obama regime has taken that to enormous new heights. Sort of like going from a six-pack of beer per day to a bottle of vodka per hour.
