UNC-Wilmington Prof. Mike “Can’t we fire him now?” Adams follows up his article earlier this week about UNC-Asheville showing a film called “Masters of the Pillow,” produced by UC-Davis Prof. of Asian-American Studies Darrel Hamamoto, leader of the “Yellow Porn movement” to get more Asian “faces” (using the term loosely), especially male faces, into the American porn industry.
In today’s article, Adams writes more about Hamamoto, who has a yen for combining cultural studies’ Marxist garbage about dominance, subjugation, resistance, representations, etc. with their pornographic equivalents. This passage, about his class, stands out:
Dr. Hamamoto says that “(w)ithout prurient intent” he has his college students “contemplate and discuss the content of their sexual fantasy life” and to imagine what “types of faces and bodies” they conjure when trying to reach orgasm.
I think we have finally reached the absurd limits of liberal guilt ? policing one’s own sexual fantasies to ensure correct racial, sexual, and ethnic diversity! I doubt even Orwell imagined this sort of Thoughtcrime!
