For those playing at home that is 63 felons outside of Derita Alternative, the CMS school ostensibly set up for troubled kids, and eight inside. The Morgan School is a “therapeutic school” for troubled kids, so perhaps one should add its headcount to Derita’s for a total of 10. Does that ratio make sense? CMS security chief Ralph Taylor thinks so.
Here’s another thing that jumps out: Independence principal Nancy Bartles might want to push the Ed Center a little harder on getting bad kids out of her school.
