I know this Durham Democrats in a satanic ritual thing has gotten big play on talk radio and on the Inter-tubes, but I just do not buy it. Not yet.
One, there is the little matter of the Duke lacrosse case, which was basically a claim of ritualized abuse by a group of people. Don’t know exactly what goes on in Durham, but getting jammed up with a dysfunctional police department and prosecutor’s office seems to be a pastime.
Then two more words: Little Rascals. The Edention case from 1989 was basically an update on the Salem Witch Trials. So I need much, much more than some prosecutor making a claim before I connect that to reality.
