So what do people have against Talk-Radio? I find myself asking that question as I look into the issue of the ?Fairness Doctrine.? The Heritage foundation had a piece on the issue and this article takes a different look in The Hill.
Now for my 2 cents worth (My Opinion). I know that some talk
radio personalities are full of themselves, but they have every right
to tell their side of the story on the air, just as I have the right to
write my opinion in this blog. So some policy makers are like an
old wet hen (That means they are ticked off) and they think muzzling
talking heads will solve the solution? Of course not, because
they are forgetting one thing that a lot of Good Ole Boys in this part of the country broadcast all the time on Channel 19 (On a CB Radio),
it might not all be political or rated G. We as Americans have
the right to be informed, uninformed, or misinformed. Last time I
looked at the Bill of Rights we are allowed to have a free press in America.
