Some people are just impervious to economic reasoning. The bishop of Stockton, CA has recently argued in favor of raising the minimum wage on the ground that it is immoral to pay workers less than they need. Bravo to the Hillsdale student who refutes the bishop’s arguments here.
Prices (including wages) have nothing to do with justice or injustice, but the coercion needed to enforce the laws setting price minima or maxima does.
