It’s happened again. A well-meaning educator who uses the dreaded N-word in an educational way has gotten in a heap o’ trouble. Remember the UNC-CH prof who used it in quoting her professors from the 1960s, to show her class how far her discipline had come? Or the Wilmington teacher who had the word “niggardly” in her spelling lesson?
