Does North Carolina’s pension plan for retired state workers and teachers need a few tweaks? A major overhaul? Is enough money flowing in to cover its long-term costs?
State Treasurer Janet Cowell appointed a committee to answer those types of questions. Committee chairman and N.C. State Professor Robert Clark discussed the topic today with the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society.
