Here is a PBS Newshour piece on college graduates who are working in low-skill jobs and struggling with their student loan debts.

This is a phenomenon that is getting a lot of attention of late, but in fact it is not new. For decades, substantial numbers of students who went to college and earned degrees have discovered that the high paying jobs they hoped for (and even expected) don’t exist in sufficient numbers for all college degree holders to have one.

Even when unemployment falls to more normal levels, most of these unhappy young people will still find that the best work they can get calls for little that they may have learned while in college.
