North Carolina?s bee industry is seriously threatened by something called the Varroa Destructor, a little mite that has virtually eliminated wild bee colonies and is hurting managed ones, too.
Not to make too much light of a bad situation, but: who gets to come up with cool names like ?Varroa Destructor??
