John Leo has a great column today in the New York Sun, in which he discusses the all-too-prevalent phenomenon of justifying false stories on the basis that “the narrative” is somehow right, and more important. Leo thinks it bad for reporters and editors to go with stories where the “facts” are unproven and often implausible claims, but the storyline conforms to the leftist worldview they want to convey to their readers.
I agree with him.
