The economy is so stinkin’ bad, it is difficult to sell things to stay in business anymore; so companies wishing to grow turn to government. Since anything can be said to create a job as long as wages are provided, and politicians want to pretend to create jobs, government will try to fork the tax dollars over for that end.

The Henderson County Board of Commissioners is interested in giving an economic incentive package to an unnamed company that will create 125 jobs. Incentives total $3.75 million, and would pay to purchase some land, prep it for construction, and lay down infrastructure. Putsch & Company is expected to receive a governmental gift of $10,000 to help it expand and provide four jobs, and Cane Creek Cycling Components would like $665 [Thass wo it say.] and maybe some other things to create three jobs paying on average $19.50/hr.
