Well, in truth, the 35 day public comment period has just come to a close and this plan (when enacted) has implications that may affect up to 90% of all coastal county property. Developed as required by the 1997 Fisheries Reform Act this document might well be the next great threat to property rights in NC. The N&O commented here about this potentially dangerous plan.”
