Has there ever been a time when having a top QB was more important to NFL success? The games this weekend featured several flat-out no contests, all traceable to a lack of good QB play on one side of the field. Oakland, Buffalo, Tampa Bay, Cleveland — all are disasters. Then you look at the success of young arms like Mark Sanchez and Joe Flacco — perhaps Matt Stafford — and notice an even bigger gap between teams that have young talent at the position and those who do not.
All we can do here in Carolina is hunker down for tonite and see what happens.
