What a great opening to this New York Times article on the Iraqi documents:

American intelligence agencies and presidential commissions long ago concluded that Saddam Hussein had no unconventional weapons and no substantive ties to Al Qaeda before the 2003 invasion.

But now, an unusual experiment in public access is giving anyone with a computer a chance to play intelligence analyst and second-guess the government.

Sounds like politicians discussing global warming:

Select scientists and politicians worldwide long ago concluded that global warming was man-made and caused primarily by American opulence. Nevertheless, other scientists have the audacity to continue to investigate causes of warming and won’t stop saying they’re finding hosts of natural causes. As we hurtle toward the tipping point, do we have to wait for New York and Chicago to get hit by a Category Seven Ice Hurricane before these people stop second-guessing that science has spoken?
