What do I think? I could go either way. I was one of those kids who opted not to read smutty stuff and let the teacher grade me as she pleased. An F in Honors English could pass as a badge of honor, a secret code for Christians trying to hire Christians without disobeying equal-opportunity employment laws. The problem is when word doesn’t get out in time, and before the youngster knows it, his/her/its mind is polluted for life.
Oh, wait. That was in the days of Rome, before we had such a thing as a free country that protected freedom of worship and conscience. My bad.
