That was unexpected. I went to BofA yesterday fully expecting Drew Brees to throw for 400 yards vs. the Panthers. Didn’t come close.
Instead the Panthers gave Brees minimal time in the pocket and jumped routes with a ferocity usually reserved for playoff games. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs?
Here’s the deal. Carolina should be 8-2 heading into Atlanta at Thanksgiving. That is what a playoff team would do. We’ll find out if we have one of those soon enough.
