The real sex education problem in North Carolina has more to do with school personnel than students.
I am talking about the issue of school employees engaging in sexual activity with students. This is a relatively serious problem in North Carolina. In April alone, at least seven school employees were arrested for exploiting minors in one way or another. Of course, the General Assembly, our “education governor,” and whoever is in charge of our public schools continue to ignore the problem.
