As the economy continues to boom, I was very impressed last weekend to see the emptying out strip malls in a place I used to live and love. Then, today, I ventured to a mall where I used to work. Everything but the dollar store closes at 8:00 p.m., now. Numerous stores are empty, and one gets the impression without counting that the number of resale shops outnumbers the vendors of new merchandise. What kiosks remained were electronic. Now, if retail outlets are being killed by online markets, where are the fleets of UPS and FedEx trucks?
