I’m not sure what John Edwards means when he says:
”Instead of staying home and complaining, we’re asking Americans to help. Most of the good that has been done in New Orleans has been done by faith-based groups, charitable groups and volunteers.”
Seems to me that Americans are already helping. And the only complaints I hear about New Orleans are against the administration Edwards is more or less opposing. This also sounds eerily like Clinton’s Americans-need-to-pay their fair share declaration.
I’m glad to see Edwards’ campaign is focused on making Americans feel better about themselves.
