Two U.S. Senators got sweetheart loans from Countrywide, it was announced yesterday. The senators, Kent Conrad and Chris Dodd are heavy hitters, chairing Senate committees on banking and budgets. They’re also Democrats, something you would never know from ABC’s coverage.
