Mystery Pollster, an excellent blog run by a Democratic pollster named Mark Blumenthal, became an indispensable tool for me during the 2004 election cycle. In a couple of recent posts, he reports the latest explanations for why the election-day exit polls projected a Kerry victory — and attracts a fair number of comments from disaffected Dems who are convinced that it was the exit poll, not the actual polls, that got it right.
Yes, apparently George W. was the perpetrator of massive voter fraud worth more than 3 million votes nationwide.
Anyway, the substance of Blumenthal’s discussion is well worth reading.
