That didn’t take long. Just a week after Asheboro’s historic alcohol vote, stores are stocking up:
Jaswinder Taya, owner of Quick Quality on S. Fayetteville Street, said he received his first shipment of beer on Wednesday and was to get another shipment today.
On the first day he said he had quite a few sales.
“People are happy. They don’t have to drive so far,” he said.
