A scant few hours after County Manager Harry Jones’ budget calls for a $10 million increase in CMS funding over last year, CMS calls a press conference to detail how the “budget cuts” will hurt students.
“Once again — and I think it’s once again too many times — politics and public opinion are taking precedence over the needs of children, the very real needs we have demonstrated time after time after time,” Frances Haithcock said during a news conference Wednesday.
Let’s hope no math teachers were involved.
