As the peaceful destruction of America continues according to schedule . . .

If all people were persuaded by the articulation of logic applied to fact, nobody would support socialized medicine. Experts in the field of interpersonal communication explain the phenomenon, stating that only a teeny tiny portion of communication is verbal.

When I was little, if I saw a hippie (somebody with long hair and an Indian headband), I would flash them a peace sign. I’ve often reflected on how stupid that was, but maybe my desire to communicate to people in their language was based on legitimate instincts.

I was therefore wondering if anybody would like to join me tomorrow for the celebration of Conscious Movement Day in Montford Park. We could do a dance against socialized medicine. I look kind of like a kimono dragon when I consider the prospects, so it should be a good show. An alternative would be to join the Drum Circle in Pritchard Park and drum for deregulated, privatized healthcare. (Framing things in the positive doesn’t convey a sense of urgency, but negativity isn’t likely to go over with the Rasta crowd.)

If about three people agree to join me, I’ll drop whatever I’m doing to try to communicate in the language of those who believe in socialized medicine.
