Instead of shouting down a conservative speaker the students at Duke laughed and snickered one down.

I saw Horowitz at UNC a couple of years ago and the same thing
happened. Coulter got it too when she was at UNC. Why can’t the left
just let someone talk and then challenge their ideas with questions
during the Q&A portion of the speech? Of course you’ll hear no
criticism by any Duke faculty or administration poobah over this rude
and uncollegial behavior.

The students were just letting Horowitz “hear their criticisms.” Their
actions were a “protest,” which makes it OK. They weren’t “disrupting
his appearance,” which would have been more accurate.

UPDATE: Horowitz’s Web site points out
that these students violated Duke’s behavior policy. I’m sure the
student court or whatever they call it at Duke will be galvanized into
action by this violation.
