My friend Shawn Macomber at “The American Spectator” writes in the latest issue about all the conventional weapons Saddam was not supposed to have, but had nonetheless. He details the massive stockpiles of weapons, some manufactured by France and Russia after the embargo that was supposed to keep new weapons out of Saddam’s hands, that are being uncovered all over Iraq in places like school buildings, homes, and stadiums. Before this week’s reports that remnants of Saddam’s former regime were leading the attacks against coalition forces, Shawn reported how insurgents and terrorists were using Saddam’s weapons to attack our troops. The piece is not online, you have to buy the magazine to read it.
