The absurd mania for “diversity” in higher education now has so many people dependent on it that Hess only sees things getting worse. Among other facts in the piece, Washington State Univesity has an office entitled “vice president for equity and diversity” with a $3 million budget. That money doesn’t provide any education, but it does enable university leaders to preen about their “commitment to diversity.”
