In this splendid NRO column Peter Schweizer observes that not only are the Obamas whiners, but that whining characterizes much of the Democratic voter base.
He’s right. I’d add that the worst thing about whiners is that they almost always expect other people to do whatever is necessary to make them feel better. I’ve known golfers who whine about everything from the condition of the course to to their equipment — but they at least don’t demand that the government tax everyone else to provide them with golf lessons, course improvements, and a new putter.
There are some satirical possibilities here.
