Churchill’s famous line about democracy is hard to argue with.
In this NYT piece Tyler Cowen of George Mason University gives us more reason to think Churchill was right, namely that most voters are swayed by style much more than any intelligent appraisal of the likely effects of the candidates’ ideas.
