Let’s get this straight. Uptown fireworks saw 20 arrests in 2005. Last year the arrest total was about 25. Last night the Uptown tally hit 103. One arrest was for carrying an AK-47!

What a joke. CMPD can spin things anyway they want. It is a newspaper’s job to unspin things. Not in Charlotte.
