In a post today, Brazil-based lefty blogger Glenn Greenwald went off on columnist David Warren for a column he wrote about the kidnapped Fox News guys who were released a few days ago. In that column he wrote this (emphasis added):
In this case, what is so striking about it is Warren’s shocking, almost-complete
physical resemblance to other rhetorical tough guy warriors like Hugh
Hewitt and John Hinderaker.
He didn’t say “close resemblance.” He said “shocking,
almost-complete physical resemblance.” You be the judge. See if you can
tell Hewitt, Hinderacker and Warren from one another.
Even
if you don’t know these guys by sight (that’s Hugh on the left, John in
the center and David on the right) you have to admit they don’t look
much alike, unless you think all white guys with lank hair resemble
each other. I hope my life never depends on Greenwald having to
eliminate me from a lineup.
