KMBZ in Kansas City has its Jerry Agar page up now, using the same grainy photo from his Raleigh days.
Jerry Agar is the newest addition to KMBZ, and while he was not born in Kansas City, he got here as quickly as he could. Jerry is a radio veteran who was a morning DJ on music stations all over America and Canada until he took over the afternoon talk show at WPTF in Raleigh, NC 5 years ago.
In the past two years he has been listed twice as one of the Top 100 Talk Show Hosts in America by Talker’s magazine and was Radio and Records magazine’s Rising Talk Star of 2004. Those accolades brought him to the attention of KMBZ and now, here he is!
His show will be about the issues of the day. “If you are talking about it, he’s talking about it.”
