Great. And now the AAUP and USA Today can begin citing the Doctorow speech as another example of the horrid climate of “intense community response” facing the left on the campus ? the infrequent times that parents and other members of the community get a chance to hear what passes for truth on campus. Booing is so messy, what with people reacting to the message as it’s given instead of flat-out preventing it in the first place. Really, it’s too bad the community can’t give such a clean shutdown of speech as the campus left can (for example, see today’s Carolina Journal exclusive).
