Gene Healy of Cato writes here about Obama’s Libyan intervention (another instance where he thumbed his nose at the law) and argues that it wasn’t a success at all.

Lots of people on the Right say that Obama has surpassed Jimmy Carter as the worst president, but thinking back on Carter, he wasn’t nearly so bad. No wars, and he allowed the movement toward deregulation to start gathering momentum. Carter signed the Airline Deregulation Act in 1978. Can anyone point to anything Obama has done to reduce the scope and power of government?

The contenders for Worst President: Wilson, FDR, LBJ, Obama.
