In response to an MIT scientist’s paper that blames human-induced global warming
for creating stronger hurricanes, another climate expert, William Gray
of Colorado State University, a leading hurricane forecaster, says:
”It’s a terrible paper, one of the worst I’ve ever looked at.”
Does that sound like the much-vaunted concensus on global warming
that the Chicken Little ecologists keep talking about? What IS
interesting here is how high up in the story the reporter put Gray’s
comments. Could that be signaling what might be a real climate change:
a lessening in the overheated media rhetoric about this topic?
