The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel ran a story today about a group of “young people” who rampaged out of control in a mall. What young people? Were they all white, all black, all Muslim? Because unless they were fairly representative of the population at large, there is no justification for calling them just “young people.”
Mayfair Mall closed down early on Sunday afternoon as New Year’s weekend shoppers were told to leave after witnesses reported seeing groups of unruly young people shouting and running in the Wauwatosa shopping center.
My guess is there is a racial component here, or some kind of ethnic component. Why won’t the newspaper tell us? Because they are cowed by the PC police and are afraid of being accused of being racist at worst and “insensitive” at best.
Journalists used to believe that the only way to solve a social problem was to acknowledge it. Now they actively work to suppress the facts that we need to make good decisions.
