As I am searching the internet to find “interesting” stories on higher education, and other topics of the day, I came across this story on the so-called “American Idol” voting controversy..
The story suggests that voters are “disenfranchised” because they are unable to vote within the two-hour time block. No word on if the Rev. Jesse Jackson filed the AP story.
I just have one simple question? When are people going to worry about the REAL election that is going on, one that is far more important to my generation than who wins some recording contract.
Don’t get me wrong, I watch the show. But my life does not revolve around the outcome of this so-called important vote. If only voters my age were as interested in the presidential election as they are why LaToya Jackson was voted off.
