The largest culinary hike in the Westpfalz will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Rodenbach. Walk 6 km on a mostly paved and stroller-friendly route through hilly areas with scenic views. Taste regional and international food specialties and selected wines at nine stations.
Germans call these events a Kulinarishe Wanderung, or KuWa for short. With all the excellent restaurants and food trucks in the Durham area, and the miles of greenways we’ve spent lots of taxpayer money one, this seems like something that could work here. Just and idea.
