Opportunities Industrialization Centers of America received a grant in the amount of $4,900,000 from the federal deficit. It will go toward training disadvantaged Ashevillians, Floridians, and Arizonans for employment in green jobs. The federal government only managed to give away $150 million for job creation today. Reportedly, requirements for job creation no longer require reporting of the number of jobs created.
The moral of the story is, parents should tell junior how opportunities will unfold if he drops out of school and struggles to hold on to a job. Then, we need to make Prozac eyes, wave our fingers in the air, and say, “This is exciting!” It’s how one survives these days.
