We’ll soon have a new N.C. House speaker, and the N.C. Coalition for Lobbying and Government Reform has ideas for that speaker to improve the legislative process.

Bob Phillips shares those ideas in an interview for the next Carolina Journal Radio.

That new speaker will work with (and against) the new House Minority Leader, Rep. Paul Stam of Wake County. He’ll share some of his priorities.

John Hood joins us to discuss Gerald Ford’s legacy, while Terry Stoops shares insights about special needs students.

And we’ll hear from speakers at a recent forum sponsored by the state’s death penalty study group.
