Sowell actually understands economics and knows that words spoken by politicians do not redirect reality. It simply isn’t possible to do all he proposes without an enormous expansion of government spending. What’s shocking is that Obama continues to utter pure nonsense about the effects of his plan. Is he really so naive as his speeches seem to indicate? Or is he just another politician who will lie to people to get their support?
