BB&T is not asking for a bailout. They’re offering forty colleges generous donations like their $1 million gift to Western Carolina University. The proceeds must go toward the establishment of a BB&T Distinguished Professorship in Capitalism and a program featuring the philosophy of Ayn Rand.

As is to be expected, the wretched hives of Darwinism and Marxism are not taking kindly to tying gifts to the voice of reason. Unlike all other contributions to the universities, the shared wealth and shared recipe for success of BB&T’s leadership are not considered appropriate for business curricula.
