Skybus comes to PTIA, with a little help from taxpayers. I can’t tell you what a great mood I’m in after seeing the photo in today’s N&R of Sen. Kay Hagan standing and cheering a company that chose Greensboro only after a nice incentives package was offered up.
The situation was summed up well in today’s N&R cheerleading editorial:
Those sweeteners mattered, said Skybus’ genial CEO, Bill Diffenderffer. “As much as I love you guys,” he said, chuckling, “I can be bought.”
Ha ha.
